In 2003, I was lucky enough to discover the excitement of travel writing and since then, this wonderful career has taken me all over the globe, to places I'd never dreamed of visiting.

My mission

My goal is to bring my adventures alive for my readers, create inspiring travel publications, and share what I've learned about destination marketing and powerful media relations with tourism boards and professionals around the globe.

What I do

My goal is to create dynamic travel stories and capture exciting images that will bring the world to my readers. From Bora Bora to the icy fjords of Labrador's Torngat Mountains, every trip is a new adventure and the seed of a new story.

I'm the editor-in-chief of Cruise & Travel Lifestyles Magazine, one of Canada's few dedicated travel publications. Check it out here:

For more than 15 years, I've worked with tourism boards around the world and know what works and what doesn't. My interactive seminars and workshops give tourism professionals the insights and practical strategies they need to make the media work for their destinations.

“I’ve known and worked with Liz for over 10 years. She is a witty, outgoing travel writer and editor, committed to delivering excellence in everything she does. She shines in any social group and forms bonds in no time, in my opinion because of her authenticity and sincere interest in others. Last spring, I got to discover yet another of Liz’s talents when our organization invited her to present her Best Practices for hosting or working with travel media to French tourism and hospitality industry partners in Aix-en-Provence and Nice.

She managed to captivate this audience—some of the attendees were not 100% fluent in English—yet the message hit home instantly. The examples she chose to present were original and so surprising that they caused the public to start wondering how it could apply to their business. That was all part of Liz’s strategy and it proves to be a real success. I strongly recommend working with Liz, as a travel editor and writer or as a presenter if you are looking for a fun and engaging skills-building conference.”
